I  would like my name added to your roster and information on how to join. My name is James 

Vannetter. I was in C battery, 7/8 Arty. I served in 1970-71 we were in Vietnam and 

Cambodia. There is two other things I was wondering if you can help me with. One is if their 

is anyplace I can find out where the different battery’s were (what FSB on What dates and so 

on. I lost all my service items and information in a fire a few years ago and don't remember 

to much on the names and places we were at during my tour. I remember Blackhorse, Tah Ninh, 

Nhu Ba Dinh and FSB Mat but not much else, can this information be found anywhere so that I 

could retrieve it for my own information. Also I have been looking for a friend - George A. 

Lowman - who served in Nam the same time I did and we were good friends. He came from 

Smithville, Mo. but I have not been able to find out anything about him in over 25 years. I 

have written to every Lowman in Smithville & Kansas and no one has any info. Is there a way 

to locate him or advertise that I am looking for him? He seems to have disappeared off the 

face of the earth. I left Nam before him by about a month, I think (we both extended to get 

out early) and I don't even know if he made it out, Ok. Thanks for any help you can give.
